IceBowl 2006 Unwrapped! (updated 12/07/05)
What it is: The IceBowl is a world-wide fundraiser event which has been held annually by the Disc Golf community since 1987. Last year 7,028 players participated at 183 events raising $128,036 and collecting 23,239 pounds of food!
Charlotte was a national leader with over $12,000 raised and a participation of 125 players!

This year, the Charlotte Disc Golf Club will hold a 5 event fundraiser to benefit the Carolina Raptor Center (first 2 events) and the Second Harvest Food Bank (the other 3 events).

Download this form (.pdf - 290KB) and start asking family, friends, co-workers, business associates, and neighbors to sponsor you. Many employers will match your donation dollar-for-dollar, so don't forget to ask about that!

Prizes! will be given to top fund raisers as follows:
$65+ raised: prize = Playas' Pak
$100 - $299 raised: Prize = Vest with IceBowl Logo + 24 Mulligans (for 1st round Saturday)
$300 - $499 raised: Prize = $30 CDGC Merchandise dollars + 24 Mulligans
$500 - $999 raised: Prize = $60 Shopping Spree at Innova! + 24 Mulligans
$1,000+ raised: Prize = $120 Shopping Spree at Innova! + 24 Mulligans
Largest single fund raiser: Prize = DisCatcher Sport basket (picture).

Entry Fees! (updated 12/02/05)
$65+ gets you into all events and a Playas' Pak.
This should be a snap to raise these funds (hopefully more) from family, friends, coworkers, and/or businesses!
If you pay on a per event basis: $15 each Birdie doubles, $10 each Birdies singles, $7 each Cam Yards Special, $25 each Ice Bowl singles, $10 each Ice Bowl doubles.

Saturday (1/21) - Bring Your Own Partner Doubles at the Nest - Birdies for the Birds. 9:30am mtg, 10am tee time. 2 Rnds. $30/team. SCORES
Sunday (1/22) - Birdies For The Birds Singles at the Nest - 12:30pm meeting, 1pm tee time. 1 Round. $10 per player. SCORES $900+ raised for Raptor Center.
Wednesday (1/25) - Cam Yards Special Edition (map & picture tour of Special Edition course). Details Here! $7 per player. SCORES $199 raised for 2nd Harvest.
Saturday (2/18) - Ice Bowl Main Event - Park Road Park (map) - 2 rounds of Singles (Map of the temporary course) - 9am meeting, 9:30am tee time. $25 per player.
Awards Ceremony at Elizabeth Billiards (map) afterwards. Free Picasso's Pizza! SCORES
Please RSVP to Ralph (email) if you are planning to attend the Pizza part of it so he can plan correctly.
Sunday (2/19) - Ice Bowl Bring Your Own Partner Pro-Am* Doubles at Park Road Park (map) - SCORES
10am meeting, 10:30am tee time. 2 Rounds - 1st round Captain's Choice. 2nd Round Alternate shot. (Map of the temporary course). $20 per team.
*Pro-Am means no Pro-Pro teams (Am-Am is fine).
