Created: 1996. "Charlotte's Web" layout added Spring 2006
Park's Features: restrooms, playground, lighted ball fields, lighted tennis courts, BMX racing track, picnic shelters, fishing pond, basketball courts, walking trails.

Original Layout: This was the 2nd most challenging course in the area unitl "Charlotte's Web" was added. The front nine is spread through out the front section of the park. Water and OB come into play on several holes. The back nine is in the woods and is very narrow. Hole 12 is the longest at 638' dogleg right.
This course opened in May of 1996. It underwent renovation in early 1997 with concrete tee pads being installed as part of the project. Tee signs were installed in June and benches in July.

"Charlotte's Web Layout: This "overlay" layout added over the winter and spring of 2006 upgrades The Nest to incredible new heights. As is typical in Stan "Stanimal" McDaniel designed courses, there is a lot of penalty for errant throws and a high risk/reward factor shows up on almost every hole. This layout features some very long tightly wooded holes (if you don't know how to throw midranges - learn!). There are only 1 -2 drives on this course where you can let down your guard and let 'er rip without a big fear of big punishment if you gak.
