Hornet’s Nest: A.OK Sugaw Creek: Change in plans for baskets: Will be getting $180 each from Harold for ones needed in addition to the ones there. Cordelia's will go elsewhere. Renaissance: Wood for bridge of 5G was stolen. Trip needs to re-gather wood from his job sites. 3) Icebowl raised over $11,699!. $1400 went to Raptor Center. CDGC's best year ever! But MN beat us ($13K+ total) by doing a great job with corporate matches. We need to do likewise next year. 4) 5 Disc sets: First printing this week. Will print sets in lots of 20 as orders come in. Several extra sets of all Rocs will be available for folks to bring to tournaments. Still no concensus on selling through retail channels (Infinity's End, Underground Games, ZoneDriven). 5) Charlotte Open: Steering Committe is Rick Black, Stan, Bill and Sam. CDGC & DL will share 50/50 in cost, profits or (hopefully not) losses. Ad has been submitted for the next DG World News magazine. 6) Park & Rec is pressuring us to get a $1M Insurance Policy for club events. This will open up the door for us to do lots of things - vending, food, sales, etc. It will cost us around $600-800 per year to do. $150 will come from money we used to spend on PDGA event insurance ($50/event). Other funds will come from a $1 adder at club events. 7) Club Weeklies & monthlies: DL weekly doubles planned to start after 4/2. Tripp & Rob are planning weekly weekend events and a possible club point series. 8) Spring Fling is next weekend. Bring a new disc that you will never use to add to a grab bag. Donate to the CTP stash good stuff you may have. Doug Singleton is driving this effort. 9) Renny Mules: Dave reports that things are well in hand. May need help gathering CTPs and a little scoring help. he hope to bring in volunteers to do most of the work so that the typical CDGC worker bees can have an enjoyable tournament. Requests for nominations for top 10 Mule-of-the-Year winners will be sent out soon.
